UNITAR CIFAL Jeju

UNITAR CIFAL Jeju / Jeju International Training Center (JITC) was established in 2010 as CIFAL (Centre International de Formation des Autorités et Leaders), global network of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in the desire of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province to achieve the United Nations’ economic and social development goals. Since it’s establishment, CIFAL Jeju / JITC successfully carried out capacity building training sessions to empower government officials and civil society leaders in the Asia-Pacific region in the areas of environment, human security, sustainable tourism, and youth engagement, and thus it has provided the platform for the economic and social development of local governments and communities. CIFAL Jeju / JITC will continue to make multifaceted efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the UN in 2015 and build the sustainable world community.
