As a global knowledge and operations platform to help the World Bank’s client countries address their own development challenges, the World Bank Group (WBG) Korea Office works in the areas of inbound/outbound knowledge sharing, private sector engagement, as well as outreach and partnership.
Building on the WBG’s long and successful partnership with the Republic of Korea, the WBG Korea Office serves as a global knowledge and operations platform to share the Republic of Korea’s development experience by bringing the public and private sectors together.
The Office leverages on the following programs to fulfill its objectives: Seoul Center for Financial Sector Development; Global Themes Knowledge Management Unit; International Finance Corporation (IFC); as well as the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).
