The UNESCAP ENEA Office organized a dialogue between the Ministry of Unification and UN & International Organizations in the Republic of Korea in September. During the dialogue, H.E. Mr. Yeon-chul Kim, Minister of Unification, delivered a presentation on the “Direction for Inter-Korean Relations” and shared his views and prospects of the peace process in the Korean Peninsula. The meeting served to raise understanding of UN agencies and International Organizations in the Republic of Korea on current developments in the Peninsula and their implications on work programmes, and on strengthening coordination among agencies.
